The All-Star Horns are a revolving cast of accomplished musical veterans and distinguished swingin' hipsters weaving a tapestry of toe-tapping tunes under the watchful guidance of Bo Ayars: pianist, arranger, and fearless leader.
A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of music with graduate studies at Mozarteum Akademie, Salzburg, Austria, Bo has worked with the greats, including Elvis Presley, Diahann Carroll, Bob Hope, Barbra Streisand, Tom Jones, Raquel Welch, Bill Cosby, Leslie Uggams, Red Skelton, The Rockettes, Joel Gray, Robert Goulet, Judy Collins, Bobby Short, and Steve Allen. He was musical director for Liberace for 13 years.
Bo has done it all, at the highest levels of professional music from London to Las Vegas and we are lucky that he makes Portland his home.

A Brief History of Sing For Your Supperclub with The All-Star Horns
Picture your typical karaoke night at a local watering hole - an interesting mix of singers and a broad range of musical styles - pop, hip-hop, hard rock, country, and classics. All comers take the mic and sing to a pre-recorded backing track.
Did you ever wonder what karaoke would have been like back in 1945 or 1956? Singers would have performed in front of a live band, dressed to the nines, and would have had their choice of songs by performers such as Ella, Frank, Dean, Bobby, Peggy, and Bing. What sights and sounds those would have been!
From this thought, Sing For Your Supperclub live karaoke was born.
From that first crackerjack crew of local musicians to the current incarnation, Sing For Your Supperclub is a fun experience unlike anything else in town. Tony Starlight's is the perfect venue for this concept, and Tony himself will make frequent appearances as host, emcee, and guest singer, possibly channeling the ghost of a famous entertainer from a bygone era!
