We are often asked about cover charges. Cover charges apply when we have live music on the stage. Usually beginning at 7:30 or 8 pm. If you come in for drinks or dinner and will be leaving before the entertainment starts, you do not have to pay a cover charge. We do understand that sometimes you may only be here for 20 minutes of music and we don't want to charge you for such a short period of time. On the other hand, that does not mean you can come early and "duck the cover." That's asking musicians to do their job for free.
It may be helpful to think of the cover charge as a ticket. The way our musician's get paid is through the cover charge, and the way our restaurant "gets paid" is by what you eat and drink. We do not artificially inflate our prices during music and we do not underwrite our music program with video poker machines.
Every dollar you pay at the door finds it's way into the pocket of a local artist! There is no more direct way of supporting the arts than to gleefully pay the cover. When you pay a $5 cover for four musicians on a Wednesday night, you are paying each person $1.25 to entertain you for three hours. I don't know where else you can find such value. A ticket to the movies is nearly $10. Theater, concert, Trailblazer tickets all dwarf this. Besides, our food and drinks are miles better than these places and our staff is much friendlier and more attentive. And your money stays in the community. You are getting great bang for your buck.
I hope this is informative. Thanks for your continued support.
