Tony Starlight’s ‘80s Experience
Do you love the ’80s?
Tony joins forces with The Nu Wavers to take on the ’80s. During the first set Tony will take you through his personal love/hate relationship with the fashion, style and music of the most ridiculous decade in memory.
Through music and monologues Tony will explain to millennials what a boom box was. Reveal which ’80s icon most influenced his pathetic clothing choices. Discuss the wisdom of piling kids in the back of a pickup truck and heading down a two lane highway while listening to Rick Springfield. And ask the tough questions like, “What is a key-tar and should I be afraid?” and “Is the best music from the ’80s the TV theme songs?”
For this show Tony teams up with The Nu Wavers, helping Tony perform Billy Idol, INXS, U2, R.E.M., The Cure, Modern English, The Church, John Cougar Mellencamp, Talking Heads and more.

A) Sweet corn salmon: Seared salmon topped with a velouté sauce (notes of lemon, butter, garlic, and cream, dotted with kernels of sweet corn) and served with Asiago polenta (gluten-free)
B) Coq au vin: Chicken thigh braised with brandy, red wine, pancetta, mirepoix and crimini mushrooms, served with Asiago polenta (gluten-free)
C) Acorn squash moussaka: Roasted acorn squash filled with a charred tomato and mixed vegetable moussaka filling. Topped with vegan ricotta (vegan/gluten-free)
